Choose Your Chimney

  • Twin Wall

The twin wall flue is an easy to install, clip-together system. It’s especially useful for when you don’t have a chimney in the room where you want to install a stove or fire.

The twin wall flue is so called due to the two layers of stainless steel sandwiching a layer of insulation. This insulation keeps the exhaust gases hot and ensures that the smoke travels up the chimney and exits where it should, rather than cooling too quickly and exiting out of your stove vents instead.

Heating South West can help plan your twin wall flue installation ensuring that it meets local building regulations.

Flexi liners – are suitable for installations where the chimney is in good sound condition. Insulating the liner (back fill) and selecting the correct grade will help to prolong the life expectancy in some instances.

Nace cast in-situ concrete lining system – is a highly insulated permanent chimney lining. We have specialised in this system for over 35 years. Usually this is the best option for chimneys with failed divides that leak or damaged chimney internals. Learn more >

Pumice liners – are essential if building a new chimney for multifuel use. Also in some cases they can be used to reline existing unlined structures.

No chimney? – No problem – with the availability of quality stainless steel insulated flue. Wood burning or multifuel stoves can still be installed with an internal or external flue. Ultimately the position and regulations dictate the outcome so why not ask our advice.
